Our foundation

More than four decades of public service

Bangladesh Cancer Society was established in April 1978. The President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh is the Chief Patron of the Society.

It is registered by the Department of Social Services, Dhaka District — Registration No. 8-02133, dated 24 April 1988.

Today the Society operates a 70-bed hospital on its own land and provides care through its centres, medical camps and mobile clinics.

Use welfare funds to help patients facing financial hardship.

Support young oncologists through research and foreign training.
